“…the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.”
Galatians 5:22-23
With the challenging state of the world it would be quite easy to slip into a state of despair. But as Christians we are encouraged to take the long view: putting everything into the context of Eternity with God. That means that we need to keep actively cultivating patience. I’m not saying it’s easy. Patience is, though, a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
No matter what happens in the world, we who love God remain blessed! We are so fortunate to know that Christ is with us, always, and from that we can take courage. And we can encourage others – who, knowing of our Christian faith, will inevitably watch for our reactions in these trying times - by showing them love in action. Do this using fruits of the Spirit both in your daily activities, and in your relationships. Let me know how you get on.
God bless
