ALL OF LIFE’S A CHOICE
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2
Do you sometimes feel helpless while struggling with life’s challenges? If you do then please let me remind you that Christ is with you always! Remembering that can enrich your spirit and help you to plod on, with His help.
Below I share a poem I wrote some years ago to remind you that you always have a choice in this world. I encourage you to choose God’s companionship every step of the way.
ALL OF LIFE’S A CHOICE
By Teresa O’Driscoll
You can choose to do good instead of doing bad.
You can choose to be happy instead of being sad.
You can choose to laugh instead of getting mad.
And when the chips are really down: pray, pray, pray.
You can choose a little joy in each and every day.
You can choose to use your talents instead of frittering time away.
You can choose to see the bright side come what may.
And when things are looking really great: pray, pray, pray.
You can choose to cross your fingers and hope that all goes well.
You can choose to just ignore there is a heaven and a hell.
You can choose to turn a blind eye for only just so long.
And when you catch His whisper: pray, pray, pray.
You can choose to see a rainbow and a sunset and a star.
You can choose to be a victim not the hero that you are.
You can choose to truly live instead of existing where you are.
And when you need some help with that: pray, pray, pray.
Yes, life is full of choices; don’t choose once and stick – go on.
Keep on choosing wisely ignore the doubters and keep strong.
Dare to choose to dream, and follow it all the way.
And when you meet an obstacle just pray, pray, pray.
Let me know how you get on with this.
God bless
Teresa
